What does Quick Change R-134a really do?
Because Quick Change R-134a contains CryolubeŽ, a high quality
lubricant blend, it allows you to recharge a R-134a system without
the additional time and expense of a separate oil charge. In addition,
the high performance blend in Quick Change
R-134a enhances system
operation and reduces system wear.
Why does Quick Change R-134a contain a lubricant blend?
When a system loses its refrigerant charge it will also lose a small
percentage of its oil charge. That oil must be replaced when re-charging
the system. The high performance lubricant blend contained in
Quick ChangeŽ R-134a allows you to recharge the system without
the time and expense of injecting a separate oil charge.
What is Cryolube lubricant and what is its purpose?
Cryolube is a superior polyalkyleneglycol PAG lubricant unlike
commercially available PAGs. Cryolube is more stable than
commercially available PAGs in the presence of moisture. In
addition, the Cryolube lubricant blend contained in Quick ChangeŽ R-134a improves lubricity and reduces system wear.
Is the product EPA approved?
Yes. R-134a is the #1 EPA approved replacement for CFCs.
Is the product OEM approved?
Yes. Both the R-134a and the lubricant blend contained in Quick ChangeŽ
R-134a are approved by major OEMs.
Do you need a license to purchase Quick Change
R-134a?
No. The EPA has not passed any regulations requiring a
do-it-yourselfer to have a license to purchase or use R-134a. |
