RMS of Georgia, LLC has
designed a complete Banking program that is both efficient and
economical. It provides a convenient option to reclaim and
store recovered refrigerant at RMS of Georgia, LLC.
This is how it works:
Deposit
An account is established with RMS of Georgia, LLC
with any amount and any type of refrigerant. There is an
initial onetime set-up charge of $50.00 for all administrative
and reporting activities for the account. This fee also
includes an initial mixed refrigerant test to determine the
purity of the deposit.
A mixed refrigerant test will be run on every cylinder
presented for deposit. There is no charge for this test as
long as the refrigerant has no more than .5% other
refrigerants. In the event the refrigerant exceeds the .5%,
(and we can’t blend this), a per pound charge will be levied
for disposal according to destruction charges. The EPA allows
no more than .5% of another refrigerant to be present in order
to pass as ARI Certified gas. As a responsible Reclamation
Center, it is our policy not to return any mixed refrigerants
to the client. Once the charge has been established, a 90%
rule is applied to the weight giving the actual deposit
weight. This accommodates the weight of the contaminants in
the product and the disposal of those contaminants after
reclamation occurs. If you do not have an account with us, all
charges are due and payable when your product is returned.
Storage Charges
We log each refrigerant deposit. A monthly charge of five
cents per pound is calculated on your beginning monthly
balance plus all deposits. Charges are billed monthly and no
partial month credits are allowed. All refrigerants are stored
in bulk with other depositor's refrigerant. You may also
purchase an approved cylinder for your exclusive use. This is
quoted on a per need basis.
Withdrawal
Withdrawals from your account can be made within one
working day notice with a minimum withdrawal of 30 pounds for
high pressure and 100 pounds for low-pressure products.
Reporting
All required reporting for the transfer of refrigerants and
the disposal of contaminants is available upon request by the
client. Monthly Account reporting is provided for account
balances of 1000 pounds or greater. Quarterly reporting is
provided for account balances less than 1000 pounds. Full
account balance and activity reporting may be obtained on
demand for an additional charge per request.
Brokerage Services
RMS of Georgia, LLC will act
as broker for selling your refrigerant. The fee is 15% of the
total sale price and is deducted from the money paid. Full
reporting on these transactions is provided for your records.
Buyback Program
RMS of Georgia, LLC has
established a Refrigerant Buy Back program to sell our
customers dirty refrigerant. Each transaction is based on top
dollar rates established by RMS of Georgia, LLC. |
